About My Practice
Sharing what I love
I began practicing yoga at the age of fourteen and have been in love with the practice ever since. Yoga is my daily inspiration - if I am not on my mat for an asana practice or seated in meditation, then I am probably thinking about it.
In July 2018 I completed my yoga teacher training in Bali with Emily Kuser of High Vibe Yoga. We had the privilege of learning from not just Emily but also Mei Lai Swan, Marc Holzman, Andrea Boni and Rachel Ellery. I returned to Australia with a passion to share what I love with my family, friends and my community.
I believe that yoga is for everyone. No matter how busy you are, or how many responsibilities you have taken on, or even what your physical capability is, you can still be a yogi or a yogini. The path of yoga is wide and varied and there will be a practice that speaks to you.
My yoga practice is a tool to help me get in touch with my true Self, the part of me that is intimately connected with Absolute Truth. I believe that we are all part of that Truth, we just need a reminder. I want to remind as many people as I can.
Classes, Pop-ups and Workshops
A private class is great for absolute beginners as well as those who have been practicing for a while. A one-on-one class allows for undivided attention between the teacher and the student. I can create a class to target specific areas you are working on, poses you might be struggling with, or to avoid a particular area due to injury. An individual session allows me to cater to you and your needs exclusively.
Prices start at $120 per hour (depending on my travel time)
Yoga for Teens
At YogaTree Stanthorpe
As of Tuesday 7th May you can find me every week at Yoga Tree in Stanthorpe from 3:30 to 4:30pm teaching a class for 11 to 18 year olds. Price is $10 per class.
I started my yoga journey as a teenager and I am super excited to be able to pay it forward and share what I have learned with a new generation of young people.
Keep an eye on my Facebook page for news and updates.
Yoga at Toowoomba Station
Join me on Saturday morning 25th May for 90 minutes of movement, breath work and meditation. In this first workshop we will be focusing on unwinding neck, shoulder and upper back tension, perfect for those who spend a lot of time in front of a computer or behind the wheel.
This class is open to all QPS staff and their families - we must have confirmation of numbers to ensure that we can go ahead. Please book in with myself beforehand if you are interested via email:
A Winter Warmer class
Join me in celebrating the Winter Solstice with a warming and relaxing class on Saturday 22nd June at 2:00pm. The Winter Solstice marks the middle of Winter and in traditional societies was marked as the new year and welcomed as it signaled the return of the light and the sun.
In this 90 minute class we will enjoy a warming vinyasa sequence before we move onto some relaxed and energising yin-like postures and close with a meditation to welcome the warmth and light of the sun back into our lives.
“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”
